Hereby, T3K- Forensics would like to inform you of your rights regarding the collection and processing of your personal data. Please read the following carefully to understand our position and practices regarding the handling of your personal data.

 

About us

T3K-Forensics GmbH is registered as a limited liability company, seated in Austria,  Ernst-Melchior-Gasse 24, 1020 Vienna, under the number FN 299112x in the official Vienna company register. We are the data controller. This means that we are responsible for deciding how we hold and use personal information about you.

Personal data or personal information  is information about a person by which this person can be identified. This does not include any data in which the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

This policy applies to current and former users of our official website. This notice does not form part of any contract nor does it constitute or imply any offer of recruitment to you. We may make changes to this policy at any time, which will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email. Please check back frequently to see any changes to this policy.

Cookies

On this website cookies are used to measure the frequency of use and the number of users of our website. In any case, no personal data is stored.

The content of the plugin is the respective network directly to your browser and from that incorporated in the website. How we obtain your personal data

We typically collect personal information about you through your use of our website, when you buy our products or services, in diverse interactions of commercial or scientific nature and purpose, e.g., at a fair or a trade show, when you visit our office, or otherwise contact us.

We use different methods of collecting data from and about you, including direct exchanges or automated technologies or interactions. Usage data generally includes, to the extent applicable: information about how you use our website, products and services. Processing of your personal data we shall conclude only with your afore-given consent or when necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or in order to take steps at your request prior to entering a legal agreement with us. 

 

We shall process your personal data when necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which T3K is subject. Where consent is required for our use of your personal information, by ticking the appropriate consent box or otherwise communicating your consent (for example, by email or providing non mandatory information), you consent to our use of that personal information for the purposes covered by the specific consent that you have given.

 

Which personal data we obtain

We may collect, store, and use the following categories of personal information about you:

  • personal contact details such as name, title, addresses, telephone numbers, and personal email addresses;

  • the professional position you hold in your employment relationship or like-wise, location of current and previous employments or workplaces;

  • information on how you use our information and communications systems including this website;

  • purchases or orders made or placed by you, your interests, preferences, feedback and survey responses.

We do not collect any special categories of personal information about you (including information about your race or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, political opinions, union membership etc.).

Regarding each of your visits to our website we will automatically collect the following information:

  • acceptance of the cookie policy;

  • information about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL), clickstream to, through and from our site (including date and time), page load times, geographic location; and

  • technical information, including the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform.

 

How do we process your data?

T3K-Forensics GmbH shall process personal data lawfully, fairly and in a transparent manner in relation to the data subject, collected for specific, explicit and legitimate purposes and not further processed in a manner that is incompatible with those purposes.

T3K-Forensics GmbH shall process personal data adequately, only relevant data and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which it is processed. That means that we will keep your personal data that we obtain regarding our business agreement with you for as long as it is needed to enforce such agreement and after, for a certain duration only, for the purpose of complying with e.g., administrative and/or tax or other mandatory legal provisions.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements. Once it is reasonable to conclude that you are no longer a user of our services or our website, we will securely destroy your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Personal data shall be kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed. Your personal data shall be processed in a manner that ensures appropriate security of the personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organizational measures.

We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which we collected it (to fulfil our contractual obligation toward you, or with your express consent and only with a legitimate interest and under the scope of a competent national legal framework), unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. We will notify you if we need to use your personal information for an unrelated purpose, and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.

Please note that we may process your personal information without your knowledge or consent, where this is required or permitted by law. In rare circumstances, we may also use your personal information in the following situations:

(a) where it is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject;

(b) where it is necessary in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person;

(c) where it is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest.

T3K- Forensics shall process only accurate personal data, taking steps to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay.

 

Data sharing

You acknowledge that we may share your personal information with the following categories of T3K-Forensics’ external third parties in accordance with this policy:

  • Service providers who act as processors based in the European Economic Area and who provide IT and system administration services;

  • Professional consultants who act as processors or joint controllers, including lawyers, bankers, accountants and insurers based in the European Economic Area, providing advice, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services;

  • The Austrian Data Protection Authority and other authorities acting as processors or joint controllers, based in Austria, which require reporting on processing, financial or transaction activities in certain circumstances.

We require third parties to respect the security of your data and to treat it in accordance with the law.

In addition, we limit access to your personal information only to the circle of our employees, agents and third parties to whom such data is necessary to be disclosed, in accordance with the law and our data protection policy. Such persons shall always be authorized and competent to handle and process your personal data  under our instructions, and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

Unless otherwise expressly stated herein, we do not transfer your personal information outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

 

Measures to protect security of the data

All information you provide to us is stored on secure severs. We will use technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data. We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. Third parties will only process your personal information on our instructions and where they have agreed to treat the information confidentially and to keep it secure.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. In spite our best efforts and practice, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the website and you acknowledge that any transmission is at your own risk.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach. We shall notify you about any data breach or any other irregularities concerning handling of your personal data and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.

 

Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • You have the right to access your personal information. This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it;

  • You have the right to request that we rectify or delete any of your personal information. This right does not extend to non-personal information. In some circumstances we may anonymize your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use such information without further notice to you (please note that we must by law keep a record of basic information about our customers (including contact, identity, financial, and transactional information) for at least 5 years, even after the contractual or business relationship has ended, for taxation purposes, purposes of financial audit and due to the obligation of data preservation);

  • You have a right to request that we stop processing your personal information where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or that of a third party). You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes;

  • You have the right to restrict our use of your personal information if the data is inaccurate, unlawful or we no longer need the data for the purpose for which we hold it;

  • You have the right to obtain personal information we hold about you, in a structured, electronic format, and to transmit it to another data controller where this is personal data that you have provided to us and if we are processing such data on the basis of your consent or to perform a contract with you;

  • If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with the way that we have handled your personal information, you have the right to make a complaint to the Austrian Data Protection Authority as the supervisory authority for data protection issues.

 

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

If you want to review, verify, correct or request erasure of your personal information, object to the processing of your personal data, or request that we transfer a copy of your personal information to another party, please contact the DPO in writing at klier@t3k.ai

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access the information (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is another appropriate security measure to ensure that personal information is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.

We strive to respond to all legitimate requests within a month. If your request is particularly complex, or if you have made a series of inquiries, our response time might take more than a month. In this case, we will keep you informed.

 

Data protection officer
